Song : Call It Fate Call It Karma
Band : The Strokes !!
Album : Comedown Machine (2013) [which gets a 10/10 from me]
Here are the chords to the shockingly beautiful closing track on the new album. I say
shockingly because I had
no idea that after 35 minutes of the most wide variety of stunning, catchy, sexy, funny
and at times simply
breathtaking melodies spanning many a genre, The Strokes had quietly saved the ace in
the pack for the end.
I've noted that the closing tracks on all their LPs tend to stand out each time around.
Be it 'Life is simple..'
from Angles (my fav song tied with machu picchu on the record), or 'Take it or Leave it'
from Is This It, or
'I Can't Win' from Room On Fire, or Julian's own personal favourite 'Red Light' from the
grossly underrated but i admit,
ever so slightly patchy First Impressions of Earth. This one continues that tradition,
to me at least.
Fairly simple song to play. Just remember to strum very lightly.. Start by playing with
the song to get the feel.
ALSO NOTE that wherever it says , you could instead play a , wouldnt make much
of a difference when strum lightly.
Tuning : STANDARD, NO CAPO

Can I stand in your light just for a while?
I waited around ...
I made up more time watchin' you
You got it down now, don't you?
