Cadillac Man:The Jesters. Recorded at Sun Records in 1965. #1. Well, I was toolin' down the highway in my beat up fifty-three..smokin' like a steamship with the po-lice after me. When I passed the business district, just then I saw..a Cadillac Motor sign sayin', trade your run-down car. Well, I pulled up in the alley tore my clutch right outta the floor and I was half-way in the dealer's when the cops flew by the door. I want the Cadillac, mister dealer..like they build in fifty-nine. I want the Cadillac, mister dealer..one that'll blast-off 'cross the line. And when I hit that open roadway..man, I really wanna fly. (INTERLUDE:PIANO:) #2. Well, I bought that big black Cadillac and I took off down the road..I adjusted my rear view mirror then I spied that po-lice Ford. They was comin' after me, boy, with their red lights all aglow.. so I whupped that wheel around and I took off down a dirt side-road. That big machine wouldn't make the turn and the cops they grabbed a-hold of me. And the last I seen my Cadillac, it was wrapped around a tree. I want the Cadillac, mister dealer.. I want the Cadillac, mister dealer.. yeah, the Cadillac mister dealer. gotta have the Cadillac, mister dealer.. I want the Cadillac, mister dealer.. .. I want the Cadillac, mister dealer.........(Fade.) A sixties smash from Kraziekhat.
