Here are the chords to this beautiful song that was featured in the game "Margrave: The Blacksmith's Daughter". I'm fairly sure these are totally correct, but I may be off about a couple minor parts. I tried playing along with the actual song though and it sounded like it was right. Oh, and sorry about the formatting, whenever I space the chords out they never line up right, so I figured why bother - especially because it's pretty clear where the chord changes are if you listen to the song. The only part that might trip you up is toward the end when the last verse and chorus overlap chord-wise. Hopefully that isn't too confusing - if anyone is lost on that, just ask! I just spent the last hour or so puzzling these out so I hope they help at least someone. At the very least, it means I'll be covering it, so there's that. Anyway... enjoy! :) He creeps into my mind and he sleeps there 'til the morning light He tiptoes round my bed, trying not to wake me as he plants flowers in my head But I wake and he is gone, did I sun you too many times my love Did I, did I turn my head away too many times I sang you the sunflower song While you put your shoes and your overcoat on And I begged you not to ride away on your black horse Oh I begged you to stay, I begged you to stay 'Cause I know you loved me one time 'Cause when I tried to run, you sang me the sunflower song FILL: Sorry love, I must put you away with the dust if I don't see you soon I'll just slip away with the night, I won't make a fuss, I'll do it like I did before But I know, I know you won't pick me up off the floor this time I sang you the sunflower song You just put your shoes and your overcoat on And I begged you not to ride away on your black horse Oh I begged you to stay, I begged you to stay 'Cause I know you loved me one time 'Cause when I tried to run, you sang me the sunflower song FILL: Help me I've misplaced my mind and I can't seem to find any light in these dark skies There are no more flowers in my head and my leaves are all dead 'cause you haven't been round this summer yet You are the sun holding all the power and I'm just a sunflower and I need you to be (leads right into chorus) Just to be, oh ( ) I sang you the sunflower song You just put your shoes and your overcoat on And I begged you not to ride away on your black horse Oh I begged you to stay, I begged you to stay, stay, stay, stay 'Cause I know you loved me one time 'Cause when I tried to run, you sang me the sunflower song
