Silver and Gold Key of Charlie stood at the back of the Salvation Army line ( ) where he'd go each Saturday for food. Some call him hopeless, but he was only homeless, and he tried to do his best to make it through. They would gather round the fire from of the trashcan in the wintertime, ( ) and listen to the stories he would share. He would tell them bout a Savior and a place that he called Heaven, and a mansion that was waiting for him there. They would all ask him why he lived such a life, and they wondered how he'd make it. All the homeless people gathered at the Salvation Army line ( ) one Saturday but Charlie didn't show. The police department found him by a dumpster in an alley and they buried him discretely as John Doe. No attendance at his funeral and no family there to say good-bye.
