On the gold streets of heaven, Songs of praise fill the air. The light of the Savior, shining bright everywhere. Up ahead in the distance, a crowd was blocking my sight. Hallelujahs and hosannas rang. I was blinded by His light. Jesus sat upon His throne, and to my knees I fell. And I was thinking to myself, He rescued me from Hell. Then He told me to follow, and He showed me the way. Then He led me down a corridor, and then I heard Him say. Welcome to the mansion I made for you. Such a lovely place Such a lovely place. Plenty of room in the mansion I made for you. Live forever here. Live forever here In His hands were the nail scars. His brow scarred by thorns. His side bore the evidence of being pierced by a sword. The angels sang praises, of the Lamb that was slain. I will always remember, the price paid. So I joined choirs singing, hosanna the King. We sang"Praises to the creator of everything" Joyful voices were joining in from far away. In the land where there's no more night. Then I hear Him say. Welcome to the mansion I made for you. Such a lovely place Such a lovely place. Plenty of room in the mansion I made for you. It's no surprise, It's no surprise Jesus judges who enters into this paradise. Only those chose His way have this eternal life. And the ones who rejected His sacrifice, Burn forever in the fires of Hell and eternal night. One thing to remember when this life is over, There'll be no turning back when death closes the door. Don't wait til it's too late, Give Him your life today? When stand facing Jesus, you will hear him say. Welcome to the mansion I made for you. Such a lovely place Such a lovely place. Plenty of room in the mansion I made for you. Live forever here. Live forever here
