I haven't found these chords anywhere on Internet. I needed the chords for my
English class with Spanish primary school students. They love this song, so I had to
transcribe it so they can sing it along with the original English version and me playing
over it with my electric guitar. It looks like a lot of fun for them. So here it is for
anyone who might need to use it too.
First verse, -7 with on the bass could be played as , but on bass, on a triad
does not sound good at all. The same stands for the -7 chord and the on the bass
. It could be played as triad with same result; it does not sound fine.
The last part of the theme (from and so on) I play it with no roots. If you play it
with a bass player, let him do it. So basically I play the fifth chord tone on fifth string,
tonic on fourth and the third chord tone on third string. Then I finish with the
final chord playing root on sixth string and vibrating the whole chord with the
tremolo bar (whammy bar) until stop. I sounds pretty good this way. Of course, you
will need some distortion (although not too much).
The song is on major but it could be that, because the arrangement has a brass
section (instruments on and ), the original guitar player might be tuning the
guitar a half tone lower ( tuning on sixth string) and then playing the song on
major.

There's 104 days of summer vacation
-7/
And school comes along just to end it
-7/
So the annual problem for our generation
Is finding a good way to spend it
Like maybe...
Building a rocket
Or fighting a mummy
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Discovering something that doesn't exist (Hey!)
Or giving a monkey a shower
Surfing tidal waves
Creating nanobots
( chord and third tone chord as guitar solo)
Or locating Frankenstein's brain (It's over here!)
Finding a dodo bird
Painting a continent
Or driving your sister insane (Phineas!)
As you can see
There's a whole lot of stuff to do
Before school starts this fall (Come on Perry)
So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb
( on bis and end)
Are gonna do it all! (bis)
(Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!) ( at end)
...enjoy it....
